Angelina Jolie Embraces Her Tattoo’s Spiritual Connection with Brad Pitt in a New Perfume Ad

Angelina Jolie has revealed her tattoo in a new perfume campaign advertisement for Mon Guerlain fragrance by the French fashion house. The tattoo, which is located on her back, is said to symbolically connect her with her estranged husband, Brad Pitt, in a spiritual manner. The 42-year-old actress proudly flaunts her iconic inkings in the photoshoot, which was shot while she was taking a break from filming her movie First They Killed My Father in Cambodia in February 2016. The tattoo was created by Thai ex-monk Ajarn Noo Kanpai, whom Angelina had flown in for the occasion.

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie received three new mystical sak yant tattoos from the same Thai artist, which consist of script lines, geometric shapes, and animal patterns.

This method is known to be more precise but can also be more painful compared to using a tattoo gun. Brad also opted to get inked by Kanpai during his visit, who had previously tattooed a Buddhist symbol on his left stomach before their separation in September. Angelina looks absolutely gorgeous in her latest campaign where she is seen wearing a white sleeveless dress and crimson red lipstick, highlighting her iconic pout.

Although I’m not fond of the dark spots on my skin from pregnancy, I still acknowledge my flaws. However, what I appreciate when I look at myself is not my appearance or facial structure. Instead, it’s the reflection of my family and age that I see. My past experiences have certainly transformed me, including my rebellious teenage phase where I dyed my hair with a Sharpie. Back then, I was more of a tomboy and a punk, and bleaching your hair was the norm. Unlike many girls, I didn’t play around much with makeup during my childhood days.
