Throughout the years, the superstar has preferred a darker hair color and typically keeps her long locks, except for a short pixie cut in the late 90s. In May, the actress and director announced her own label and has teamed up with a French luxury fashion house to create a women’s wear capsule collection called Atelier Jolie. The collection was co-designed by Angelina Jolie and the creative director of Chloé, Gabriela Hearst. Inspired by her personal wardrobe, the collection includes evening wear with fluid silhouettes and timeless designs. The pair’s mutual ideals for the betterment of society were the inspiration behind the collection. All of Angelina’s earnings from the collaboration will be invested in establishing apprenticeships for tailors and artisans at Atelier Jolie. Gabriela expressed her admiration for Angelina’s vision and is honored that Chloé will be the first collaborator for Atelier Jolie.

Her earnings from this collaboration will be invested in creating apprenticeships for tailors and artisans at her new venture, Atelier Jolie, which will be launching this autumn. Atelier Jolie aims to be a space for creative people to collaborate with skilled tailors, pattern makers, and artisans from around the world. Jolie’s appreciation for high-quality vintage material and deadstock fabric already available inspired her to be part of a movement to cultivate more self-expression. Deadstock fabric refers to unsold rolls of fabric from fabric mills or leftover from a brand’s production run.
