Gal Gadot, 38, enjoyed a leisurely walk around London with her husband Jaron Varsano and their three daughters on Wednesday. This outing followed her recent visit to the city for a meeting during a break from filming. Director David F.Sandberg, 42, debunked rumors that Gal’s appearance in a Wonder Woman cameo was deep-faked. He clarified that the scene was shot in England while he directed remotely due to visa issues. Some film fans had questioned if Gal was even present on set, but David shared a video of himself directing her through a zoom call to set the record straight. He assured viewers that it wasn’t a deep fake, addressing the confusion surrounding her appearance in the DC superhero film.

Speculation about a scene being fake began when photos from the set of Shazam 2 revealed Gal Gadot’s body double, Taylor Cahill, in the Wonder Woman suit.
Fans quickly suggested that Taylor was playing the scene instead of Gal, but director David clarified that they used Taylor to plan camera angles for Gal’s part in the scene as she was unavailable during filming in Atlanta.
David addressed the rumors on Twitter stating, ‘We shot the scene with Taylor first to plan Gal’s shots.’ He also mentioned, ‘It’s Taylor’s body with Gal’s head – no deepfake. When you see Gal, it’s really her.’
Gal is a mother to Alma, 11, Maya, five, and Daniella, one, whom she shares with her husband, Jaron Varsano, 48. Jaron, who sometimes goes by a variation of his name with a Y instead of a J, is an Israeli businessman turned producer in the entertainment industry.
Jaron even had a cameo in Gal’s movie Wonder Woman 1984 as an extra on set. The couple met at a ‘desert party’ through mutual friends and have been married since 2008.
In an interview with Glamour in 2016, Gal shared how they bonded over yoga, chakras, and healthy eating, saying, ‘We didn’t find ourselves there, but we found each other.’

Setting things straight: The London outing comes after Shazam! Fury Of The Gods director David F.Sandberg, 42, denied that Gal's Wonder Woman appearance was a deep fake

Let’s clear things up: The London trip happened after director David F.Sandberg, 42, of Shazam! Fury Of The Gods, dismissed claims that Gal’s cameo as Wonder Woman was created using deep fake technology.

Questioning: It comes after filmgoers questioned if Gal was even on set and whether her face was deep faked onto her body double in the scene

After speculation arose about Gal Gadot’s presence on set and her face potentially being digitally altered onto her body double, the Israeli actress gained fame for portraying the DC Studios’ version of Wonder Woman.
Following the success of the first two films released in 2017 and 2020, a third Wonder Woman movie was in the works at DC Studios before it was removed from the studio’s lineup.
Despite the cancellation of the third instalment, James Gunn, the new co-head of DC Studios, assured fans that Gal Gadot was not fired from her role as Wonder Woman.
In response to a fan’s Instagram comment expressing concerns over Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot’s involvement in future projects, Gunn refuted claims that they were being “booted” from their roles.
The initial Wonder Woman film was a hit, grossing $103 million in its opening weekend and amassing $412 million domestically and $822 million worldwide.
Reports suggest that Gunn, along with producer Peter Safran and Warner Bros. co-CEOs Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy, decided that the third Wonder Woman film did not align with their vision for DC Studios moving forward.
